Sinden Mixes on KISS

Sinden

For those of you who don’t know, Sinden has a regular radio show on KISS radio. The content of his show tends to be eclectic, but all the tracks are united by their deliciously tweaky danceable funkiness. Further good news on this subject came today in the form of a belated blog post over at Mad Decent where they posted up two downloadable Sinden shows from February (the KISS client only lets you listen to the most recent show). Be sure to cruise over there and grab ‘em for your listening pleasure.

Last night I picked up a whole pile of new tunes to play at the Bassteasers Digital launch party. I’ve been fiddling about with them in Ableton and experimenting with new ways to mix and loop and all sorts of fun stuff. By the time the show rolls around I should have everything suitably set up and I think it’s going to be a lot of fun DJing with this new set up. There has been a lot of really hot tunes popping up all over the place lately, I find myself struggling for time to listen to it all. On average I check out two new mixes per day (one for each of my commutes) and in the evenings I usually spend a few hours cruising the net for new tracks/artists and I still don’t feel like I’m getting around to everything I’d like to check out!

Tonight I’ve got Guy Michael in the studio. We’ve got a hot idea for a new B’more-influenced track that we’re going to get started on. I’m pretty keen to begin working on this one. Hopefully it will be done by the 25th so I can play it out at the label launch!
