We’ve been hard at work crafting up some dope new tunes under our new production name “Smut Peddlers”. Most of this work is scheduled for release on various labels and so I can’t drop any samples here, but rest assured we’ve got plenty up our sleeves for the bloggers too!

Stay tuned to this space for a 3 part sampler to whet your appetite for the upcoming releases. That’s right, 3 FREE tunes for you, our adoring fans, hitting the net within the next 24 hours!

Movember

As a side note to my usual content I’d like to mention another “side project” I’ll be working on for the month of Movember:

During Movember (the month formerly known as November) I’m growing a Moustache. That’s right I’m bringing the Mo back because I’m passionate about tackling men’s health issues and being proactive in the fight against prostate cancer.

To donate to my Mo you can either:

  1. Click this link https://www.movember.com/ca/donate/donate-details.php?action=sponsorlink&rego=1627476&country=ca and donate online using your credit card or PayPal account, or
  2. Write a cheque payable to the ‘Prostate Cancer Research Foundation of Canada’, referencing my Registration Number 1627476 and mailing it to:

Prostate Cancer Research Foundation of Canada
Attn: Movember
145 Front Street East
Suite 306
Toronto Ontario M5A 1E3

Donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

The money raised by Movember is donated directly to the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation of Canada who will use the funds to create awareness and fund research across the country into prevention, detection and treatment, with a goal to ending the threat of prostate cancer.

Did you know:

  • Every year around 24,700 Canadian men are diagnosed with prostate cancer and about 4,300 die of the disease, making it the number one cancer threat to Canadian men.
  • 1 in 7 men will develop prostate cancer in their lifetime.
  • All men over the age of 40 are potentially at risk and should talk to their doctor about the disease and early detection. Prostate cancer is 95% curable if detected and treated early.

For those that have supported Movember in previous years you can be very proud of the impact it has had and can check out the details at:
[ Fundraising Outcomes ]
.

Movember culminates at the end of month Gala Partés. If you would like to be part of this great night you’ll need to purchase a [ Gala Parté Ticket ].

Thanks for your support,

~Kink

PS: I’ll be posting some moustache pics as it develops. I’d be interested to hear any suggestions or tips on moustache styling.

Don't Stop Pop

That’s right kids, Kink and Guy Michael’s “Pop This” Remix of Don’t Stop Pop by Syntonics is now available for purchase on Electrobounce! Head on over there and GIVE US MONEYS!!!

That is all.

Don’t Stop Pop RMX due for release on Electrobounce!

Wow, so it’s been a heck of a long time since I last posted anything here. Man have I been busy in the studio. I’ve got 3 tracks coming out on 2 different labels in the next month…

The first two tracks to mention are my Zombootie remix and a new track called “UltraChunkula” which are both being released through Bassteasers Digital. The label guys tell me that we should be looking at a release very soon for those so stay tuned for more news there.

The third track has been up for free download here and on the blog circuit for a while: it’s the Kink and Guy Michael remix of Don’t Stop Pop by Syntonics! The good folks at Electrobounce have picked up the original Syntonics track as well as a select group of remixes including our version and a hot mix by Barletta. We’re just finishing up some publicity stuff for that release which should be happening very soon as well.

Going forward I’ve got two more tunes in production. I’ve also been working on mastering Guy Michael’s new mix, which is going to wreck your face when it drops later this month.

Featured on The Beat Ranch!

Beat Ranch Logo

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am this week’s featured DJ on The Beat Ranch! I’ve done up a special Oldschool UK Hard House set to commemorate the final Goodfellaz party on September 13th. You can find my guest page and a download link to my mix “Back to the Hoovers” here.

Enjoy!

New Tunes Coming Up!

I finished up my newest tune last night. Just need to put a couple of finishing touches on the mix over the next couple of days and it will be off to Purefocus for mastering! The release on Bassteasers is coming up real soon and I’m super busy getting together all the bios and pics and associated PR tidbits to go with that.

I’m really excited for this since it’s my first official commercial release! I’ll be sure to post all the details here once the tunes go out later this month! Stay tuned!

Right, here’s the inside scoop on the official Bassteasers Digital website. I just got the go-ahead to promote the “soft launch” of the site. Although the official launch is still a little way off, the Bassteasers guys want to give a select few the chance to preview the site. If you are reading this consider yourself “select”. Here’s the link to the mainpage and here is a link to my artist page.
