So I just picked up tickets to this. I haven’t been this excited about a show since I saw the Chemical Brothers live at the Glasgow SECC! Fool’s Gold has been steadily feeding my iPod with quality tunes over the last little while. With a live event in my home town on the horizon (and just in time for my birthday) I couldn’t possibly miss it.
It’s been a while since this tour was announced on the Fool’s Gold blog. It’s their second label tour and they’re putting it together as a collab with Dim Mak Records. According to the FG website each date on the tour will feature headliners A-Trak, Sinden, and Steve Aoki (although Aoki’s name is conspicuous in it’s absence from the Toronto lineup). Sammy Bananas is also on board to open up each night. As if that wasn’t enough, they will be picking up a few special guests in each city. Looks like Toronto’s date is going to feature Jokers Of The Scene and Nacho Lovers which all adds up to OMFG MY HEAD A SPLODE!!!
In other news, Guy Michael made a brief stop off at the studio last night and we discussed ideas for future tracks and other projects in the pipeline. I’ve been concentrating so much lately on the site that I haven’t had much chance to get down in the studio. Never fear! Now that the website is up and running, you can look forward to some fresh new sounds in the not-too-distant future…
