Hailing from Bologna, Italy, Clark Able is quickly gaining ground as a staple in my fidget house crate. With an aggressive release schedule including forthcoming choonz on ESP, Jack Union, and Vatican House he’s sure to bust out huge in the next couple of months! Apparently his ESP offering entitled “Lemon Head EP” will feature remixes by Crookers, Nic Sarno and HiJack (another one of my current faves).
Fortunately, while we’re waiting for all these juicy releases there are plenty of samples and blog tunes kicking around. First up if you want to hear the Crookers remix of Lemon Head you can head over to ESP’s MySpace where they have a listening-only sample. Also, the Curb Crawlers did a review of Able’s remix of Erik Bo & Tony Will’s Funk Addict with a listenable sample there. Over at Disturbed Beats there are no less than THREE Clark Able tunes available for free download, so make sure to stop off over there. Finally, Palms Out Sounds has a download of “Bad Boy On The Block” which is worth checking out.
