well, i was feeling under the weather so i didn’t get out of bed yesterday. hence the no monday post this week. i’m going to make up for it big time over the next few days though: First up: the Zombootie Kink Remix is off to PureFocus Mastering for it’s final work! I will release a [...] my cat chewed through my ipod headphones last night. i don’t usually let them into the studio without my supervision but he must have snuck in there while i was in there and then when i left and closed the door behind me he stayed inside for a little snack. as much as it pisses [...] we went tobogganing last night. it was a super fun time, especially because carole had never been tobogganing before, but it took a lot out of me. i’m feeling exceptionally tired today. hopefully i will have some tobogganing pics to post up soon. the mix is coming along well. i don’t know when i’ll be able [...] try searching the word ‘fail’ in google images. i have been entertained for hours. just picked up this multi-region multi-format DVD player off ebay. it plays all of the following formats: Playback Media: CD, CD-R/CD-RW, Video CD/SVCD, DVD, DVD-R/-RW, DivX, DVD+R/+RW Compression formats: MPEG1, MPEG2, DivX 3.11, DivX 4.x, DivX 5.x, DivX 6.0, DivX Ultra so this means i don’t need to unplug my laptop from the studio and move it into [...] all i want is a region free dvd player that also plays mpeg and divx. is that too much to ask? apparently it is… in the uk you can buy them from any electronics store. hell you can buy them from that sketchy electronics store underneath the train bridge (uk peeps will know what i’m talking [...] so, i spent a good chunk of this weekend working out some things in ableton. my new mix is probably about 3/4 of the way to being done. also, i’ve been putting more thought into how i work with the software. ableton never ceases to amaze me with regards to how open-ended and yet easy [...] |
