so we went to cirque du soleil last night. it was amazing. i mean, i don’t even know how to describe it. the asthetic was like Dr. Seuss meets The Cell. the acrobatics were completely impossible. most was done without wires and it was all totally flawless. best juggling EVER. the stage was a total [...] i have had this entire album stuck in my head for about a week now. different songs on different days. it’s a very pensive album so i’ve been in a bit of a wierd mood. i wonder what it’s all about. i don’t usually get music stuck in my head like that… carole and i saw a homeless guy in the subway. he smelled like poop and he was yelling about dracula. then he started singing. when you factor in the entertainment value, the subway’s actually not a bad deal. Blogged with Flock it’s orientation week at the post grad school i work for. they have a free smoothie truck out front handing out treats to students and staff. this truck is MAD pimped, with lowered suspension, low profile tires and huge chrome rims. i tried to take a pic with my phone but their ride was so [...] …in that, if a computer is in any way associated with carole it dies a horrible death. their innovation and creativity in this matter is what surprises and impresses me the most. they don’t just refrain from loading or complain loudly about lack of memory. their ultimate self inflicted demise is inevitably altogether more exotic, [...] |
