oh and in another un-weekend-related note. i started reading jonathan strange & mr norrell today. it seems like a really really awesome read although i’ve barely got to the meat of the story yet. it’s a huge book and i was a bit apprehensive but it seems like despite it’s size it will be a [...] well, this weekend was quite busy. went to buskerfest on friday and saw lots of fire juggling, didgeridoo playing, body contorting, break dancing madness! took some sweet videos on my phone so i’ll likely edit them together in the next little while and upload them as my first YouTube contribution. saturday went up to my parents [...] so they (they being the people who run the department i work in) decided to buy everyone tea/coffee from tim hortons this morning. they sent the admin assistant for the department head around to ask people their orders. the thing you have to understand is that laura (the AA) is from france and there are [...] I fought the war but the war won’t stop for the love of god. Blogged with Flock Check out this article on cbc.ca it deals with the human brain and it’s response to music and even goes into a few examples of how this might fit in to the evolution of human beings. i’d be very interested in reading the book that’s reviewed in this article. i seem to be having a bit of trouble with my blog software. it keeps throwing up an error every time i post something. very annoying. it was all i could do to wrestle this meager post out of it. well, with my immediate boss gone for the week and not a whole hell of a lot going on at work (finished all the most pressing concerns up last week) i’ve been trolling the WoW forums even more furiously than ever. yesterday i read an in depth guide discussing the merits of EVERY WARLOCK TALENT. [...] and i’ve lost my watch. it’s in the apartment somewhere but i have no idea where. not having a watch totally throws me off. i mean, i don’t really need one. i’ve got a cell phone which tells time, not to mention i spend like 80% of my day in front of a computer. but it [...] i’ve been trying to tire out the cats before bed and feed them a bit later in the evening so that they don’t wake us up an hour before our alarm goes off. last night was the first test of this plan and it seemed to work a bit better, they only started making noise [...] Yeah, Mike and I were playing our alts last night in STV and a bunch of Horde kept ganking us. We hopped on our mains and grabbed some guildies and rampaged through the zone killing EVERYTHING in our path including smashing the hell out of Grom Gol base camp, then killing most of the Horde [...] |
