carole and i are off to her mom’s place in maybole again this weekend to ring in the new year. we’ll be back on tuesday at some point. hope everyone has a fun and safe new year… i found a really great essay written on the topic of player vs player conflict in World of Warcraft. it goes into detail regarding the nature of conflict, how it arises in the real world, and how this has been mirrored in this online community. in particular it investigates the role communication, or lack thereof, [...] i just called to order chinese food and the guy there totally recognized who we are and literally asked how we were doing and stuff… i think this means we definitely eat too much chinese food… or too little? at any rate this quandry is definitely best pondered over a plate of fried rice and bamboo shoot [...] i need just one spark to set me free… just chilling for boxing day. carole and i went out and got some awesome back massages at a chinese herbal practitioner. we’re planning on making regular visits to them. it’s always so surprising to me how much damage office work can do to your body. anyways, off to play WoW for the first time all weekend… [...] simple things amuse me i’m at my girlfriend’s mom’s place for christmas. i love it here but i miss my folks big time. i’ll post some pics tomorrow of the festivities and also the beautiful forest out back. ~kink ps: scottish television is really wierd, especially at christmas. hello and welcome to my blog. just getting started here so please check back later. ~kink |
